To use SkyDSL you will need a dialup or broadband connection to the internet. The reason for this is the SkyDSL systems are used to give you a much faster incoming connection i.e. download stream, this is why you can use SkyDSL with ADSL broadband to make your internet even faster.

Telefonica Trac Phone connections
If you have a Telefonica Trac phone and it is the latest digital version you will not have any problems with using SkyDSL If you have an old Trac phone then you will need to upgrade the system but this can take sometime as there is a big waiting list for people to get a Trac phone so we would recommend you using the GSM Mobile via bluetooth or data cable or the GSM PCMCIA cards.

GSM Internet Cards
The GSM PCMCIA Cards are designed to be used on laptops only but we now can provide people with a PCI converter card which means you can plug the GSM PCMCIA card in the back of your desktop or towner PC. The PCMCIA cards are a very cost efftive solutions Xàtiva Systems GSM cards cost 48.00 EUR.

Mobile Phones
To use a mobile phone for your out going Internet connection you will need a bluetooth enabled mobile or a data cable. If you want to check compatability of your mobile, please let use know your make and model of mobile phone and we can tell you over the phone or via email, if it is bluetooth enabled or compatable to use the data cables. If not we can provide you with a solution or advise on a new mobile phone that best suits your needs or a GSM Card.

Please note
In order to use your mobile phone cost effecively for the internet it will need to be a contract phone and not pay as you go. We will need to setup your contract with the internet option. The internet option costs around 30 EUR a month. If you do not have a contract phone not to worry, we can help you find the best cost effetive solutions to suit your needs.
