Virtual Private Network
By installing a firewall gateway to your ISP we can create a secure Virtual Private Network (VPN) into your network from our support centre. Once a VPN is created, this enables our support team to connect to the troublesome equipment. RDS performs at its best with a firewall installed with fast Internet access but in some cases this may not be either practical or possible. In these situations the service can be run from a dedicated remote access connection into your network.
Terminal Applications
We install terminal applications to monitor and control your IT systems and if you necessitate we can be on hand to perform system checks or administrative tasks. This may be service pack updates, Anti-virus definition updates, back-up job completion checks, warning of low disk space etc or adding and deleting users, changing e-mail addresses, etc. Using network management applications we can monitor business critical equipment. In the event of a network outage or a server failure we can be alerted to the problem and contact you to the situation.
