The following download will automatically modify your Windows registry to enable your computer to automatically end tasks and timeout to speed up your computers shutdowns and restarts.
- Download shutdown.zip and save it to your desktop.
- Extract the shutdown.zip to the same location (Desktop).
- Double click the folder shutdown.
- Double click the file shutdown.reg to import into your registry.
NOTE: If your anti-virus software warns you of a “malicious” script, this is normal if you have “Script Safe” or similar technology enabled. Just ignore the warning and let it continue.
